Career Oppertunities: Title: SAP basis administrator Skills: SAP Basis Location: Melville, NY Area code: 631 Tax term: FULLTIME Pay rate: Open Length: permanent Job description:Is primarily responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the Basis component of SAP systems, and will assist in the planning, designing and architecting of SAP systems across a variety of platforms and databases. Job Duties Assist in designing development methodology, system environment, and development object workflow and client configuration. Install and maintain SAP software components. Provide planning, sizing, cost estimations, recommendations, and advice to business owners for determining appropriate system hardware and landscape configuration. Troubleshoot & resolve SAP BASIS problems and smoothly transition non-BASIS issues to the appropriate department or person. Monitor SAP performance with standard transactions, Solution Manager tools, and Wiley Configure and maintain Transport Management System (TMS) across all SAP systems. Participate the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades Communicate through OSS messages, monitor status, and apply OSS notes for issue resolution. SAP parameter maintenance, performance, and tuning adjustments. Administration of dual stack (ABAP/Java) environment, BI, XI, ERP, Enterprise Portal and Solution Manager.
