Career Oppertunities: Title: Technical Assurance Analyst Skills:Supply Chain and Financials, QA Location: Melville, NY Area code: 631 Tax term: FULLTIME Pay rate: Open Length: permanent Job description:Work closely with IS Project Managers and Business Users by testing business applications to ensure the satisfaction of business requirements and compliance with all IS standards and guidelines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensures that all information systems products and services meet minimum company standards and business user requirements by attending project team meetings with IS Project Managers and Business users to review and understand business requirements. 2. Determine testing methodology and thoroughly test software and databases to ensure their proper operation. This includes creating formal Test Plans from the Business Requirements, Test Cases, and Test Scripts. Identify and perform testing tasks using both manual and automated tools such as TestBench as necessary. 3. Acts as the main business user contact for application system support. 4. Documents all reported problems and to resolve issues ensuring that they are resolved adequately. Reports problems and correction status to management. 5. Performs workflow analyses and recommends quality improvements. 6. Assists in user training and process documentation. 7. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required Experience: Five years general IS business process experience, working as a liaison between business users and IS applications teams, or the equivalent required. Education: Associates degree or the equivalent required. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: ?
